Gone are the days were protesters simply just demonstrate at
a location or at most pass out pamphlets.
Since digital media is so entrenched in our daily lives, it is now even
part of the protest movement. The Occupy movement is now launching its own news
site Occupy.com later this month. As of now, creators of the site claim that
they will not have ads. However, as traffic grows on the site, do you think
that may change?
I wonder what the protestors of the
Flower Child generation would think of this.....

We definitely live in a different time than those protestors of 'ole. The amount of ulterior motives on both sides of the spectrum is sickening to say the least. This is why I believe in social media and an open-source society- the truth will be exposed sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteI am in complete agreement... next we'll be seeing advertisers that employ the 1% on the Occupy site.. wonder how that will be justified?
