When a
loved one passes away, those family members left behind have the painful task of going through
the recently deceased's assets. Assets used to include such things as their home,
personal belongings, etc. Now, due the growing role social media has in our
lives, Facebook, Twitter, and email accounts are now being referred to “digital
assets” of the deceased's estate. After reading this, my thoughts were in 100
years how much of our estate would be digital and how much of it would be a
tangible asset? Check it out:

Interesting! A friend of mine just commented on his FB yesterday that when he dies, he allows FB to expose all of his private posts on FB and some girls will be able to find the answers they are looking for.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where social good is going and how to capitalize on this trend.
